The new Western tanks and weapons will arrive in Ukraine this spring. Will they help Ukraine win the war? Will Putin go nuclear? If Putin loses the war, will he lose power? Join us on Monday, February 27 at 7 pm to learn more as we hear from distinguished journalist Jim Brooke '77.
Jim worked for 24 years as a staff reporter for The New York Times, with many reporting assignments to Russia. After leaving the Times in 2006, he lived and worked in Moscow for eight years, including stints as Bloomberg Bureau Chief and then Voice of America (VOA) Bureau Chief. Starting in 2015, he worked for six years as a reporter in Kyiv, Ukraine. In September 2021, he came home to his native New England. He now is President of the Yale Club of the Berkshires.
Cost of the webinar is free, but we suggest a donation of $10 or more to support Ukrainian refugees who are relocating to the U.S. Donations are entirely optional and will not affect your ability to register for this event.
